Cristiano Ronaldo notched a perfect hat-trick as Al-Nassr completed a demolition exercise against Al Wehda in the Saudi Pro League on Saturday, May 4.

The veteran Portuguese, who scored twice in midweek to help the Knights of Najd reach the final of the Saudi King's Cup, scored a treble to help his side secure a 6-0 rout.

Ronaldo's hat-trick spurs Al-Nassr to heavy win

While Ronaldo opened the floodgates, he was also guilty of spurning a golden chance within two minutes of the game when he skied an effort from close range.

Nonetheless, the 39-year-old, made sure Al Wehda would bear the brunt this time when he capitalised on some comical defending from the visitors to break the deadlock in the fifth minute.

The former Manchester United, Juventus, and Real Madrid ace then doubled his tally and that of his side when he connected to a Marcelo Brozovic cross as Al-Nassr threatened to disappear out of sight.

Ronaldo's brace was soon followed by a goal from his compatriot and former FC Porto talisman, Otavio, who scored his ninth goal of the campaign.

Otavio then turned provider this time, linking up with Sadio Mane, who scored a peach of a goal to send Luis Castro's men into halftime with a comfortable 4-0 lead.

Castro ringed the changes to his side as the result seemed cast in stone.

But Ronaldo was unrelenting in his effort to score his 66th career hat trick, and his determination yielded the desired result in the 57th minute.

Mane put him through on goal before letting off a left-footed strike, which zoomed straight into the net.

There were no further additions to the scoreline until the 88th minute, when substitute Mohammed Al Fatil scored the icing on the cake.

Delighted Mane reacts to Ronaldo's unselfish act

Sports Brief also reported that Sadio Mane expressed delight after scoring in Wednesday's King's Cup clash between Al-Nassr FC and Al-Khaleej, helping the Saudi giants secure a spot in the final.

The Senegalese forward successfully converted from the penalty spot, courtesy of Cristiano Ronaldo's unselfish decision to hand over the spot-kick duties to him.
