Arsenal's Golden Glove Winners

1. Wojciech Szczesny (2013-14)

Szczesny became the first Arsenal player to win the Premier League Golden Glove, taking home the prestigious award in the 2013-14 season.

He shared the top prize with Chelsea's Petr Cech after they both finished the season with 16 clean sheets.

Szczesny posted shutouts against Tottenham (twice), Crystal Palace (twice), Hull City (twice), Newcastle United (twice), Liverpool, Southampton, Cardiff, Chelsea, Cardiff, Fulham, Manchester United, and West Bromwich Albion.

He recorded clean sheets in each of his last three league starts to capture the Golden Glove.

2. Petr Cech (2015-16)

Cech joined Arsenal in 2015 after ending his 11-year association with Chelsea. The Czech goalkeeper made an immediate impact with the Gunners, winning the Premier League Golden Glove in his first season with them.

He was solid between the sticks for Arsenal, recording 16 clean sheets in the 2015-16 season.

Cech posted shutouts against Liverpool, Newcastle United (twice), Stoke City (twice), Manchester United, Watford, Swansea, Aston Villa, Bournemouth (twice), Southampton, West Bromwich Albion, Sunderland, Norwich, and Aston Villa, per TransferMarkt.

3. David Raya (2023-24)

Raya proved his doubters wrong, becoming the third Arsenal player to win the Premier League Golden Glove award.

He recorded his 15th clean sheet of the season in the Gunners' 3-0 win over Bournemouth on Saturday.

It was an impressive performance by Raya, who clinched the award with two games left.

He stepped up his play in 2024, with 10 of his 15 clean sheets coming this year. He captured the award despite missing the first four league matches this season.

Rice expecting miracles in title race

Sports Brief also previously reported on Arsenal star, Declan Rice's thoughts about the EPL title race.

The Gunners lead Manchester City by one point, with the defending champions having a game in hand.

Rice said that fans should expect 'miracles and surprises' as the top flight season nears its conclusion.
